About
Start your own research, or join someone else's
Arche is an open substrate for science. Start research of your own, discover and read work from others, and collaborate on it. AI tools are built in along the way, and Arche only uses private models supplied by Venice AI.
Arche Vision
Private Venice AI models follow your experiment through the camera. They document each step as it happens and answer questions in a chat beside the feed. Use any regular camera, up to four streams. Footage can stay private and on your own device.
Open science
Browse labs, search across Arche, and ask the Arche assistant when you need a hand finding something.

Labs
Create labs for your research interests
Upload artifacts
Papers, data, code, images, and notes, kept with the lab.
Launch experiments
Track them by hand or run them live with Arche Vision.
Invite collaborators
Add people by email and work from the same lab.
Privacy built in
Set a lab public or private, and do the same for each experiment and artifact in it. Arche only uses private AI models supplied by Venice AI.
Experiments
Track experiments by hand or with cameras
Log each step of an experiment as an update: a hypothesis, the setup, observations, data, analysis, and anything that went off plan. Attach artifacts to the update they came from. Each update builds on an earlier one, so the record grows into a graph you can replay.
Literature
Ask the literature a question
Literature lookup searches open papers on OpenAlex and arXiv, reads them, and writes a report with citations. Then ask follow-up questions about the report in chat. It runs on private models supplied by Venice AI.
Ask a research question.
Chat about this report
Concepts and ideas
Discuss research questions in the open
Post a concept or an idea of your own. Others can comment, ask questions, or challenge it, and you can debate or just follow along. The discourse graph shows who added what and how the idea changed.
